Running Cascade Server
Starting the Application
Cascade Server can be run in one of two ways, either via Windows Service or Command Line.
Note: The application cannot be run in both modes simultaneously.
Command Line
Navigate to the Cascade Server 5 installation directory via the 'cd' command. In a Windows environment run the command:
cascade.bat start
On Linux or Mac OS X Cascade Server 5 can be started with:
$ cascade.sh start
Windows Service
If the Cascade Server 5 service was installed, Cascade should be activated when Windows loads. It can also be started manually through the Services Control Panel:
- On the Start menu, select Run.
- Type in services.msc and click OK.
- Locate the "Cascade Server 5" service, right-click and select Start.
Open your web browser and go to the url "http://MACHINE_IP_ADDRESS:8080". This will take you to the login page. The default username and password to login:
username: admin
password: admin
