I’m a Customer Success Specialist at Hannon Hill, which means I get to spend each day connecting with our amazing customers through email and Zoom calls. I get to hear about how customers are using Cascade CMS and Clive in their particular contexts, and I help them make sure they are getting the most out of their subscriptions with us. I love the relationships I get to build through this job.
From my first interview at Hannon Hill up until I was hired, every single person I interacted with was honest and kind, and I knew that they valued who I was as a person and a professional. That has continued to be my experience as I’ve gotten used to my role here, and the culture of respect here is admirable.
Before Hannon Hill, I was a high school English Language Arts teacher! I taught classes like World Literature, British Literature, and AP English Language and Composition.
Ask questions! Sometimes I get in my head and think that I’m bothering others, but the sooner you know how to do your job well, the more everyone will benefit.
Ever since I was little, I’ve wanted to learn as much as possible. I read and ask questions as often as I can because I want to know everything! You never know when one little thing you learned that you thought was insignificant in the moment will come back and be valuable.
And now for some fun questions…..
I really loved Sequoia National Park in California. The scenery is beautiful, and the hikes are refreshing. The perspective that you gain when looking at a forest of thousand-year-old trees is indescribable.
It’s specific, but I love the Raspberry Cheese Danishes at Kula Coffee Co in the Atlanta Tech Village, where Hannon Hill’s office is located. I’m also always down for a quesadilla. Basically, any combination of cheese and bread has my heart.
If you were a brand, what would it be?
What's a motto you live your life by?
“Other people do this all the time.”
When I’m stressed at an airport, have to make a difficult phone call, or am moving to a new house, it helps me to remember that other people all over the world are doing these things too. I’m not alone, and these are not unprecedented tasks! It’s a simple mantra, but it keeps me from getting overwhelmed.
