Workflows

A workflow is a series of steps that content must go through before it can be created, edited, copied, moved, renamed, and/or deleted by users in Cascade CMS.

Custom Workflow Emails

Custom Workflow Emails allow you to personalize your workflow notification and completion emails. A WYSIWYG editor plus dropdowns to insert placeholders for workflow details makes it simple to build templates for informative and actionable emails.

Workflow Triggers

A workflow trigger is a plugin that enhances an action in the workflow process by executing code as the transition from a source step to a destination step occurs. It encapsulates some system logic to accomplish a non-workflow related function.

Assigning Workflows

In Cascade CMS, workflows can either be used as part of an Asset Factory for the creation of new content, or assigned to a folder to control actions taken on contained content.

Receiving Workflow Notifications

You can be notified of waiting workflows by email or in the My Workflows dashboard widget.

Content Review

The Review Date metadata field helps you to keep your content up to date by allowing you to schedule reviews for assets.

Tasks

Tasks allow content managers and contributors to create and organize their to-do lists in Cascade CMS.
