Why can't my users see anything in the Add Content menu?
In order to see a particular item in this menu, a User must be part of a Group that is configured in the Applicable Groups field for both the Asset Factory and the Asset Factory's Container.
Steps for configuring both can be found below:
- Add Applicable Groups to the Container (if applicable):
- Go to Manage Site > Asset Factories.
- Either right-click and select Edit on the Container or click on the Container and click the Edit button.
- In the Applicable Groups field, click the Choose Groups button and add any Group(s) that should have the ability to see this Container in their Add Content menu.
- Click Submit.
- Add Applicable Groups to each individual Asset Factory(s):
- Go to Manage Site > Asset Factories
- Either right-click and select Edit on the Asset Factory or click on the Asset Factory and click the Edit button.
- In the Applicable Groups field, click the Choose Groups button and add any Group(s) that should have the ability to see this Asset Factory in their Add Content menu.
- Click Submit.
